Dubai Visa Application Submission Checklist: Final Review

Use this final review once you have confirmed the visa category and obtained a tailored document list. It is a check of the completed application file, rather than another general guide to who needs a visa. For eligibility and the published tourist-route documents, read our main requirements guide.

1. Confirm the application choice

  • The provider has confirmed the category and submitting channel.
  • The traveller’s current location and intended dates have been explained.
  • The entry route has been checked for this visitor.
  • Any existing application has been disclosed to the provider.

2. Compare the form with the passport

Read the application alongside the passport copy. Check names, passport number, nationality and the requested dates. Resolve an uncertain entry with the provider before submission. Do not use a previous traveller’s file as a template without checking every field.

3. Open every attachment

  • The files belong to the correct applicant.
  • The requested pages are complete and readable.
  • The photograph and other attachments follow the supplied upload instructions.
  • Replacement versions are clearly identified.
  • Each person in a group has a separate complete set.

4. Review the written quotation

Confirm the total, what is included and which work may attract an additional charge. Check any cancellation or refund terms relevant to your application. If an urgent service is proposed, establish what the extra payment changes and when the quoted estimate begins.

5. Agree how submission will be confirmed

Ask when the provider expects to lodge the completed file and how you will receive the reference. Keep the quotation and payment receipt, but request the submission confirmation separately. Ask which tracking service can be used with the reference you receive.

6. Save a simple application record

Record Why keep it
Final document set Identifies the versions sent for this applicant.
Quotation and receipt Records the agreed service and payment.
Submission reference and date Identifies the lodged application.
Outstanding action and next update Helps you follow up on the right issue.
Issued permit Lets you check the result against the passport and trip.

After you send the file

Ask for acknowledgement of receipt and whether any correction remains. When submission is confirmed, record the reference immediately. If further information is requested, keep the request and your response with the same application record. Before travel, inspect the issued permit rather than relying solely on a general success message.

A completed checklist reduces avoidable confusion during preparation. It does not establish that a visa has been approved; that result must be confirmed for the submitted application.
